Tasty Thursday Recipe – Salad Dressing

Here is a super simple salad dressing recipe that my family loves!
Ingredients
  • 4 cups of lettuce of your choice (I use organic Italian mix with ½ cup of arugula)
  • 2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
  • 2 teaspoons balsamic vinegar
  • 2 teaspoons raw honey
  • sea salt to taste
  • *optional freshly shaved parmesan cheese

Instructions
  1. Combine oil, vinegar and honey in a ramekin.
  2. Toss lettuce together in a large mixing bowl.
  3. Drizzle dressing over lettuce and sprinkle sea salt over top.
  4. Add shaved parmesan cheese on top if desired.

Notes
You may have to melt the raw honey before mixing. Adjust measurements to your liking. I like my salad a little dry. Experiment with your salad to make it perfect to suit your needs.

    I make a similar dressing but I add a little dijon mustard too. It’s also really yummy.

    i was wondering, if you really wanted to slim down a lil quicker, can you follow your workout plan and XFLD diet plan? Or would following (mainly) the bw/home version be better? I was just curious… thank you for these amazing programs and motivational blogs and emails. i dont have much time to write back but i do try and make time to read them at least. and this dressing is one of my favorites!

      umm…both ways work, the XFLD is more geared for faster weight loss or you can follow the Step-By-Step diet!
