Don’t have all the ingredient listed? All you need are these 3 ingredients to make your very own protein bar:

  • 2 cups dried oats
  • 1 cup  protein powder - BioTrust is the absolute BEST tasting and purest protein that I have ever tried
  • 1/4 cup nut butter

NOTE: you can swamp cranberries for any dried fruit, cocoa for dark chocolate (1/4 cup), and add any type of seed.

      Hi Jen,
To calculate the calories/macro nutrients in your protein bars just add up all the calories/macro nutrients in the ingredients you use and then divide that by however many servings you want it to make.

I have not made these exact protein bars but have made some similar and they were pretty chewy and gooey. You’ll have to try the vanilla and see, I would think it would taste pretty good!

      Hi Marco,
Glad you enjoy Flavia’s blog! The information she shares is great for men and women. :)
I can’t tell you if it’s too much fat. How much fat you eat at each meal depends on your goals, current macronutrient level and when you train. The protein bars are made from healthy ingredients so if it fits into your day then they are great to eat in the evening.
      All the best!

These protein bars are so addictive. I cant stop eating them. Is that ok? Or should I stop msking them so I don’t keep pigging out on them?

I’ve been looking for protein bars to take on the go with me. I’ve came across Quest Bars and they look like a good product. What do you think about these bars? Are they healthy?

    • Anna says:

      Hi Grayson,
Biotrust has some great products that Flavia recommends. Quest is also a great brand and I enjoy having them when I’m on the road or didn’t take the time to prep a meal.
      All the best!
