    Great pointers, thanks Flavia!
After reading the point about not laying flat, I read somewhere that it helps the baby during third trimester to spend time on all fours/laying over a swiss ball for 20-30mins a day as it helps the baby turn or reduces pressure on your organs. Is this true? Can pregnant women watch tv on the floor laying over a swiss ball or are there exercises/stretches on a swiss ball to help?

Haven’t heard of that. I know there are a lot of great things to do with the stability ball for pregnancy to help during labor and opening up the hips, such as sitting on the SB and tilting your pelvis in a circle. Also, I don’t believe it is unsafe to lay on your belly, it just may be uncomfortable.

I think laying flat on your belly is unsafe once the baby bump already becomes noticeable. From what I was told, if it feels uncomfortable, it is not safe for you and your little angel. Well, maybe I’m wrong but it’s never bad being overly cautious especially if you are a first-time mother.
