That moment when you look in the mirror do you see your true beauty.

Flavia Del Monte

motivational fitness sayings

When you look in the mirror do you see your true beauty? Do you see your soul and know that you were created as you for a purpose?

Often times I think of women I admire and although they don’t have the perfect body, they are the most beautiful people I know because they work on their inner-self.

Ever develop an attraction over time because of someones personality?

I truly hope my inner beauty far outweighs my outer beauty.

Have a blessed day!

Beautifully said Flavia. And from someone that knows you I can attest to the fact you are both beautiful inside and out.

Good to see you putting some focus on the inner self … it balances out what seems to be an obsession with external appearances. It is a much more holistic way of viewing life.

This is such an important perspective to keep in the fore front of our minds. Too many times, on fitness blogs I am subscribed too, women refer to their bodies as “ugly” if they are not up to their own standards. Being healthy and fit is important to me, not perfect. I ditched my inner perfectionist years and years ago and have been free ever since. The fact is, I get busy sometimes, and can’t work outlike I would like too. I can squeeze 5 minuts in here and 15 minutes in there, but never walk away feeling like I have a really great workout. But am doing what I can, and honestly, THAT IS ENOUGH and I am doing the best that I can. Right now I have had an in home board and train puppy (I train dogs via positive reinforcement) and she has consumed every spare moment I have to ensure she doesn’t make a mistake. IT is exhausting and something has to give. I did manage to clean up my diet a lot more this five weeks, since I couldn’t workout nearly as much as I would like and won’t be too far off when I start back on Friday! The truth is, we are all beautiful individuals and it doesn’t matter what shape or size we come in. We will never be perfect, and perfection is something I stopped striving for a long time ago. Thank you for bringing this down to earth perspective out. I know people who work out hours a day and look great, and have lost so much weight, but still see themselves as the “fat girl” because they haven’t worked on their inside. My desire is that we all see ourselves as the beautiful people we are, just the way we are. Thanks, Flavia. Very powerful. Saw an interesting quote and can’t remember who said it but it was something like, “Until you make peace with who you are, you will never be happy with where you are”. Make peace with yourself today.

To be complete we have to start with the inside .What good is it to work so hard and have a great body but not free inside from all these other things that need to be worked on or changed Yes health is very important but sometimes the things we cant let go of or the things that need to be renewed in us can keep us in a unhealthy state. So yes we should workout, but also so very important to see who you are truly in the inside and what you have been created for while you are here. Its much more then just gym.Because this world has become so focus on only appearances on the outside and has forgotten true beauty from within. DON’T LET OUTER BEAUTY FOOL YOU looks good from the outside but damaging from the inside.

The reason I choose to “follow” you and not anyone else (b/c lets face it HIIT is not something new) is that you and your husband are as one and it seems that you indeed walk in the path you were created for. One can see, obviously 😀 that health is important to you but so is your husband, family and others.
